অবিযর সেনাবাহিনীতে 4,00,000 বীর সৈনিক ছিল| অবিয তাদের নিয়ে যুদ্ধে যান| ইতিমধ্যে যারবিযাম 8,00,000 বীর সেনা নিয়ে যুদ্ধের জন্য প্রস্তুত হয়ে রইলেন|

আসার সেনাবাহিনীতে যিহূদা জনগোষ্ঠীর মোট 3,00,000 বল্লমধারী সেনা ও বিন্যামীন জনগোষ্ঠীর 2,80,000 ধনুর্ধর সেনা ছিল| যিহূদার সৈনিকরা বল্লম ও ঢাল নিয়ে যুদ্ধ করতেন| বিন্যামীনের সৈনিকরা ছোট ছোট ঢাল এবং তীরধনুক নিয়ে যুদ্ধ করতে পারতেন| এঁরা সকলেই ছিলেন সাহসী ও বীর য়োদ্ধা|

এই লোকরা 3,07,500 য়োদ্ধার এই সৈন্যদলকে পরিচালনা করতেন, যারা যে কোন শএুর বিরুদ্ধে অত্যন্ত পারদর্শীতার সঙ্গে যুদ্ধ করতে পারত|
