কিছু দ্বার রক্ষীদের কাজ ছিল মন্দিরের নিত্য ব্যবহৃত থালার হিসেব রাখা| এঁরা এই সমস্ত থালা বাইরে আনা ও নিয়ে যাওয়ার সময়ে গুনে রাখতেন|
