য়োষেফ সেখানে অনেক কষ্ট পেয়েছিলেন; কিন্তু ঈশ্বর তাকে তাঁর সমস্ত কষ্টের হাত থেকে উদ্ধার করলেন৷ ফরৌণ তখন মিশরের রাজা, য়োষেফের মধ্যে ঈশ্বরদত্ত বিজ্ঞতা দেখতে পেয়ে ফরৌণ তাঁকে পছন্দ করলেন৷ ফরৌণ য়োষেফকে মিশরের অধ্যক্ষরূপে নিযুক্ত করলেন, এমনকি ফরৌণের গৃহের সমস্ত পরিজনের উপরে তাকে কর্তা করলেন৷

தீமையை நன்மையென்றும், நன்மையைத் தீமையென்றும் சொல்லி, இருளை வெளிச்சமும், வெளிச்சத்தை இருளுமாகப் பாவித்து, கசப்பைத் தித்திப்பும், தித்திப்பைக் கசப்புமென்று சாதிக்கிறவர்களுக்கு ஐயோ!

அந்த ஜனங்கள், நல்லதைக் கெட்டதென்றும் கெட்டதை நல்லது என்றும் கூறுகிறார்கள். அவர்கள் இருளை வெளிச்சம் என்றும் வெளிச்சத்தை இருள் என்றும் நினைக்கிறார்கள். அவர்கள் இனிப்பைக் கசப்பு என்றும் கசப்பை இனிப்பு என்றும் எண்ணுகிறார்கள்.
