অনেক দিন ধরেই সকলে খাওয়া-দাওয়া বন্ধ করেছিল৷ তখন পৌল তাদের মাঝে দাঁড়িয়ে বললেন, ‘মহাশয়েরা, আমার কথা শুনে ক্রীতি থেকে জাহাজ না ছাড়া আপনাদের উচিত ছিল, তাহলে আজকের এই ক্ষয়ক্ষতি এড়াতে পারতেন৷
