তামর বিধবা বলে য়ে কাপড় পরত তা খুলে ফেলে অন্য কাপড় পরল ও তার মুখ ওড়না দিয়ে ঢাকল| তারপর সে তিম্নার কাছে অবস্থিত ঐনযিম শহরের দিকে য়ে রাস্তা চলে গেছে তার ধারে বসল| তামর জানত য়ে যিহূদার ছোট পুত্র শেলা এখন বড় হয়েছে কিন্তু তবু শেলার সাথে তার বিয়ে দেবার কোন পরিকল্পনাই যিহূদা করে নি|

And she put her widow's garments off from her, and covered her with a vail, and wrapped herself, and sat in an open place, which is by the way to Timnath; for she saw that Shelah was grown, and she was not given unto him to wife.
