শিমিযি রাজাকে বলল, “হে আমার প্রভু, আমি যা ভুল করেছি তা নিয়ে ভাববেন না| হে রাজা, যখন আপনি জেরুশালেম ছেড়ে চলে গিয়েছিলেন তখন আপনার সঙ্গে যে যে খারাপ আচরণ করেছি তা আর মনে রাখবেন না|
