হিষ্কিয় রাজপ্রাসাদের তত্ত্বাবধায়ক ইলীয়াকীম, সচিব শিব্ন ও প্রধান যাজকদের আমোসের পুত্র ভাব্বাদী যিশাইয়র কাছে পাঠালেন| তারাও সকলে শোক প্রকাশের জন্য চটের পোশাক পরেছিল|

“আমার হয়ে, আমার প্রজাদের হয়ে, সমগ্র যিহূদার হয়ে প্রভুকে জিজ্ঞেস কর আমরা কি করব? খুঁজে পাওয়া এই বিধিপুস্তকের বাণী সম্পর্কেও তাঁকে প্রশ্ন করো| প্রভু আমাদের প্রতি রুদ্ধ হয়েছেন কারণ আমাদের পূর্বপুরুষরা এই বিধিপুস্তকের কথা আমাদের যা নির্দেশ দেওয়া হয়েছিল তা মেনে চলেন নি|”

প্রথম থেকে শেষাবধি উষিয আর যা কিছু করেছিলেন সে সবই আমোসের পুত্র ভাব্বাদী য়িশাইয লিখে গিয়েছিলেন|

Isaiah 37:2
হিষ্কিয় প্রাসাদের পরিচালক ইলিয়াকীম, রাজপরিবারের সচিব শিব্ন ও যাজকদের মধ্যে প্রবীণদের আমোসের পুত্র ভাব্বাদী যিশাইয়র কাছে পাঠালেন| তাঁরা দুঃখ প্রদর্শনের জন্য বিশেষ পোশাক পরেছিল|
