প্রভু যা কিছু বারণ করেছিলেন তিনি সেই সব করেন| তিনিও নবাটের পুত্র যারবিয়াম ইস্রায়েলের লোকদের য়ে সমস্ত পাপাচরণে বাধ্য করেছিলেন তা বন্ধ করেন নি|

5আহাবের মতো এতো বেশী অপরাধ বা পাপ আগে কেউ করেন নি| তাঁর স্ত্রী ঈষেবলই তাঁকে এসব করিযেছিলেন|

প্রভু যা কিছু করতে বারণ করেছিলেন, যিহোয়াহস সে সবই করেছিলেন| নবাটের পুত্র যারবিয়াম য়ে সমস্ত পাপাচরণ করতে ইস্রায়েলের লোকদের বাধ্য করেছিলেন, যিহোয়াহস সেই সমস্ত পাপাচরণ করেছিলেন| তিনি সেই সব কাজ বন্ধ করলেন না|

2 Kings 13:6
কিন্তু তা সত্ত্বেও যারবিয়াম য়ে সকল পাপ দ্বারা ইস্রায়েলীয়দের পাপাচরণে বাধ্য করেছিলেন, তাঁরা সে সকল পাপাচরণ বন্ধ করল না, কিন্তু আশেরার মূর্ত্তিকে শমরিয়াতে থাকতে দিল|

2 Kings 13:11
প্রভু যা কিছু বারণ করেছিলেন ইস্রায়েলের রাজা যিহোয়াস সে সমস্তই করেন| নবাটের পুত্র যারবিয়ামের মতোই তিনি ইস্রায়েলের লোকদের পাপের পথে চালিত করেন|

2 Kings 21:6
তাঁর নিজের পুত্রকে তিনি য়জ্ঞবেদীর আগুনে আহুতি দেন| ভবিষ্যত্‌ জানার জন্য তিনি প্রেতাত্মা ও পিশাচদের কাছে যাতাযাত করতেন|প্রভুকে অসন্তুষ্ট করার মত আরো অনেক কাজই মনঃশি করেছিলেন| ফলতঃ প্রভু খুবই রুদ্ধ হয়েছিলেন|

এই ভাবে তৃণগ্রাসী বলদ মূর্ত্তির সঙ্গে ওদের মহিমাময় ঈশ্বরের আদান-প্রদান করেছিলো!
