অহসিয় তখন 50 জন লোক সহ এক সেনাপতিকে এলিয়র কাছে পাঠালেন| এলিয় তখন এক পাহাড়ের চূড়ায় বসেছিলেন| সেই সেনাপতিটি এসে এলিয়কে বললো, “হে ঈশ্বরের লোক, ‘রাজা তোমাকে নীচে নেমে আসতে হুকুম দিয়েছেন|”‘

এক সময়ে ঈষেবল প্রভুর সমস্ত ভাববাদীদের হত্যা করতে শুরু করেছিলেন| ওবদিয 100 জন ভাববাদীকে দুটি গুহার মধ্যে 50 ভাগের দুটি দলে লুকিয়ে রেখে ছিলেন এবং নিয়মিত তাদের খাবার ও জল এনে দিতেন|
