এদিকে গেহসি মহিলা ও ইলীশায়ের আগে আগে বাড়িতে এসে সেই লাঠিটা নিয়ে বাচচাটার মুখে ছোঁযালো, কিন্তু তাতে কোন জীবনের লক্ষণ দেখা গেল না| গেহসি তখন ফিরে এসে ইলীশায়কে বলল, “ছেলেটা তো উঠল না প্রভু!”
