রাজা পাগলের মতো উন্মত্ত হয়ে প্রভু, আপনার ঈশ্বরকে খুঁজে বেড়াচ্ছেন, চতুর্দিকে আপনার খোঁজে লোক পাঠিয়েছেন| প্রত্যেকটা দেশে তিনি আপনাকে খুঁজতে লোক পাঠিয়ে ছিলেন এবং সেখানে আপনাকে পাওয়া না গেলে আহাব সেখানকার শাসকদের কাছ থেকে প্রতিশ্রুতি আদায করেছেন, য়ে সত্যি সত্যিই আপনি সেই সব দেশে নেই|

তাই দায়ূদকে ডেকে আখীশ বললেন, “প্রভুর অস্তিত্বের মতোই নিশ্চিত যে তুমি আমার অনুগত| তোমাকে আমার সৈন্যদের মধ্যে রাখলে আমি খুশি হতাম| যেদিন থেকে তুমি আমার কাছে, আমি তোমার কোন অন্যায় দেখি নি| কিন্তু পলেষ্টীয় শাসকরা তোমাকে সমর্থন করে নি|
