உன்னுடைய எல்லாச் சத்துருக்களுக்கும் உன்னை நீங்கலாக்கி, இளைப்பாறவும் பண்ணினேன்; இப்போதும் கர்த்தர் உனக்கு வீட்டை உண்டுபண்ணுவாரென்பதைக் கர்த்தர் உனக்கு அறிவிக்கிறார்.

கர்த்தர் தெரிந்துகொண்ட இரண்டு வம்சங்களையும் வெறுத்துப்போட்டாரென்று இந்த ஜனம் சொல்லி, தங்களுக்கு முன்பாக என் ஜனம் இனி ஒரு ஜாதியல்லவென்று அதைத் தூஷிக்கிறார்களென்பதை நீ காண்கிறதில்லையோ?

கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால் நான் உயர்ந்த கேதுருவின் நுனிக்கிளைகளில் ஒன்றை எடுத்து நடுவேன்; அதின் இளங்கிளையிலுள்ள கொழுந்துகளில் இளசாயிருக்கிற ஒன்றைக் கொய்து, அதை உயரமும் உன்னதமுமான ஒரு பர்வதத்தின்மேல் நாட்டுவேன்.

அவர் நம்முடைய பிதாக்களுக்கு வாக்குத்தத்தம் பண்ணின இரக்கத்தைச் செய்வதற்கும்;
