மரக்காலும் அளவுகுடமும் ஒரே அளவாயிருந்து, மரக்கால் கலத்திலே பத்தில் ஒரு பங்கும், அளவுகுடம் கலத்திலே பத்தில் ஒரு பங்கும் பிடிக்கக்கடவது; கலத்தின்படியே அதின் அளவு நிருணயிக்கப்படுவதாக.
