நான் உன் அருகே கடந்துபோன போது, உன்னைப் பார்த்தேன்; இதோ, உன் காலம் பருவகாலமாயிருந்தது; அப்பொழுது என் வஸ்திரத்தை உன்மேல் விரித்து, உன் நிர்வாணத்தை மூடி, உனக்கு ஆணையிட்டுக்கொடுத்து, உன்னோடு உடன்படிக்கை பண்ணினேன் என்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறார்; இவ்விதமாய் நீ என்னுடையவளானாய்.
