இதோ, நான் வடக்கேயிருக்கிற சகல வம்சங்களையும், என் ஊழியக்காரனாகிய நேபுகாத்நேச்சார் என்கிற பாபிலோன் ராஜாவையும் அழைத்தனுப்பி, அவர்களை இந்தத் தேசத்துக்கு விரோதமாகவும், இதின் குடிகளுக்கு விரோதமாகவும், சுற்றிலுமிருக்கிற இந்த எல்லா ஜாதிகளுக்கும் விரோதமாகவும் வரப்பண்ணி, அவைகளைச் சங்காரத்துக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுத்து, அவைகளைப் பாழாகவும் இகழ்ச்சிக்குறியாகிய ஈசல்போடுதலாகவும், நித்திய வனாந்தரங்களாகவும் செய்வேன் என்று சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்

இதோ, நான் வடக்கேயிருக்கிற எல்லா வம்சங்களையும், என் ஊழியக்காரனாகிய நேபுகாத்நேச்சார் என்கிற பாபிலோன் ராஜாவையும் அழைத்தனுப்பி, அவர்களை இந்தத் தேசத்திற்கு விரோதமாகவும், இதின் குடிமக்களுக்கு விரோதமாகவும், சுற்றிலுமிருக்கிற இந்த எல்லா மக்களுக்கும் விரோதமாகவும் வரச்செய்து, அவைகளை அழிவுக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுத்து, அவைகளைப் பாழாகவும் இகழ்ச்சிக்குறியாகிய பழி போடுதலாகவும், நிலையான வனாந்திரங்களாகவும் செய்வேன் என்று சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

எனவே நான் வடக்கில் உள்ள அனைத்து கோத்திரங்களையும் அனுப்புவேன்” இந்த வார்த்தை கர்த்தரிடமிருந்து வருகிறது. “நான் விரைவில் பாபிலோனின் அரசனான நேபுகாத்நேச்சாரை அனுப்புவேன். அவன் எனது தாசன். நான் அவர்களை யூதா நாட்டிற்கும் யூதாவின் ஜனங்களுக்கும் எதிராக அனுப்புவேன். உங்களைச் சுற்றியுள்ள அனைத்து நாடுகளுக்கும் எதிராக அவர்களைக் கொண்டு வருவேன். அந்நாடுகளை எல்லாம் நான் அழிப்பேன். அந்நாடுகளை நான் என்றென்றும் வனாந்தரமாகும்படிச் செய்வேன். அந்நாடுகளை எல்லாம் ஜனங்களை பார்த்து அவை எவ்வாறு அழிக்கப்பட்டன என்று இகழ்ச்சியாக பிரமித்துப் பேசிக்கொள்வார்கள்.
