நீதிமொழிகள் 28:24
தன் தகப்பனையும் தன் தாயையும் கொள்ளையிட்டு, அது துரோகமல்ல என்பவன் பாழ்க்கடிக்கிற மனுஷனுக்குத் தோழன்.

உன்னை அதிகாரியாகவும் நியாயாதிபதியாகவும் நியமித்தவன் யார் என்று சொல்லி அவர்கள் நிராகரித்த இந்த மோசேயைத்தான் தேவன், முட்செடியில் அவனுக்குத் தரிசனமான தூதனாலே தலைவனாகவும் மீட்பனாகவும் அனுப்பினார்.

“யூதர்கள் அவர்களுக்கு வேண்டாமெனக் கூறிய அதே மோசே அவர்தான். அவர்கள் அவரிடம், ‘நீ எங்களுக்கு அதிபதியாகவும், நீதிபதியாகவும் இருக்கமுடியுமென்று யாராவது கூறினார்களா? இல்லை!’ என்றனர். தேவன் அதிபதியாகவும் மீட்பராகவும் மோசேயாகிய அதே மனிதனை அனுப்பினார். தேவன் ஒரு தேவதூதனின் உதவியோடு மோசேயை அனுப்பினார். எரியும் புதரில் மோசே கண்ட தேவ தூதன் இவனே.

⁽முன்பு, ‘உன்னைத் தலைவனாகவும்␢ நடுவனாகவும் நியமித்தவர் யார்?’⁾ என்று கூறி மக்கள் மோசேயை ஏற்க மறுத்தார்கள். ஆனால், அதே மோசேயையே கடவுள் முட்புதரில் தோன்றிய தம்தூதர் வழியாய்த் தலைவராகவும் மீட்பராகவும் அனுப்பினார்.
