நெகேமியா 9:3
அவர்கள் எழுந்திருந்து, தங்கள் நிலையில் நின்றார்கள்; அப்பொழுது ஒரு ஜாமமட்டும் அவர்களுடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரின் நியாயப்பிரமாணப் புஸ்தகம் வாசிக்கப்பட்டது; பின்பு ஒரு ஜாமமட்டும் அவர்கள் பாவ அறிக்கை பண்ணி, தங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரைப் பணிந்துகொண்டார்கள்.

இந்தக் காரியம் தேவனுடைய பார்வைக்கு ஆகாததானபடியால் அவர் இஸ்ரவேலைத் தண்டித்தார்.
