யோசுவா உயிரோடிருந்த சகல நாட்களிலும், கர்த்தர் இஸ்ரவேலுக்குச் செய்த அவருடைய கிரியைகள் யாவையும் அறிந்து யோசுவாவுக்குப்பின்பு வெகுநாள் உயிரோடிருந்த மூப்பருடைய சகல நாட்களிலும், இஸ்ரவேலர் கர்த்தரைச் சேவித்தார்கள்.

யோசுவா உயிரோடிருந்தபோது இஸ்ரவேலர் கர்த்தருக்கு சேவை செய்தனர். யோசுவா மரித்த பின்னரும், கர்த்தருக்குத் தொடர்ந்து, ஜனங்கள் சேவை செய்து வந்தார்கள். அவர்கள் தலைவர்கள் உயிரோடிருந்தபோது ஜனங்கள் தொடர்ந்து கர்த்தரை சேவித்தனர். கர்த்தர் இஸ்ரவேலருக்குச் செய்த காரியங்களைப் பார்த்தவர்கள் இத்தலைவர்கள் ஆவர்.
