ஏதோமியரும் கூடவந்து, யூதாவைமுறிய அடித்து, சிலரைச் சிறைபிடித்துபோயிருந்தார்கள்.

אֱלֹהִ֔ים
And
he
dreamed,
וַֽיַּחֲלֹ֗םwayyaḥălōmva-ya-huh-LOME
and
behold
וְהִנֵּ֤הwĕhinnēveh-hee-NAY
a
ladder
סֻלָּם֙sullāmsoo-LAHM
up
set
מֻצָּ֣בmuṣṣābmoo-TSAHV
on
the
earth,
אַ֔רְצָהʾarṣâAR-tsa
and
the
top
וְרֹאשׁ֖וֹwĕrōʾšôveh-roh-SHOH
reached
it
of
מַגִּ֣יעַmaggîaʿma-ɡEE-ah
to
heaven:
הַשָּׁמָ֑יְמָהhaššāmāyĕmâha-sha-MA-yeh-ma
and
behold
וְהִנֵּה֙wĕhinnēhveh-hee-NAY
the
angels
מַלְאֲכֵ֣יmalʾăkêmahl-uh-HAY
God
of
אֱלֹהִ֔יםʾĕlōhîmay-loh-HEEM
ascending
עֹלִ֥יםʿōlîmoh-LEEM
and
descending
וְיֹֽרְדִ֖יםwĕyōrĕdîmveh-yoh-reh-DEEM
on
it.
