அப்படியே தாவீது தன் மனுஷரைக் கூட்டிக்கொண்டு, கேகிலாவுக்குப் போய், பெலிஸ்தரோடு யுத்தம்பண்ணி, அவர்களில் அநேகம்பேரை வெட்டி, அவர்கள் ஆடுமாடுகளை ஓட்டிக்கொண்டுபோனான்; இவ்விதமாய் கேகிலாவின் குடிகளை ரட்சித்தான்.

அவனைப் பிஸ்காவின் உச்சியில் இருக்கிற சோப்பீமின் வெளியிலே அழைத்துக்கொண்டுபோய், ஏழு பலிபீடங்களைக் கட்டி, ஒவ்வொரு பீடத்தில் ஒவ்வொரு காளையையும் ஒவ்வொரு ஆட்டுக்கடாவையும் பலியிட்டான்.
