ராஜாவின் ஊழியக்காரரும் தாவீது ராஜாவாகிய நம்முடைய ஆண்டவனை வாழ்த்துதல் செய்யவந்து: தேவன் சாலொமோனின் நாமத்தை உம்முடைய நாமத்தைப்பார்க்கிலும் பிரபலபடுத்தி, அவருடைய சிங்காசனத்தை உம்முடைய சிங்காசனத்தைப் பார்க்கிலும் பெரிதாக்குவாராக என்றார்கள்; ராஜா தம்முடைய கட்டிலின்மேல் குனிந்து பணிந்துகொண்டார்.

ராஜாவின் ஊழியக்காரர்களும் தாவீது ராஜாவாகிய நம்முடைய எஜமானனை வாழ்த்த வந்து: தேவன் சாலொமோனின் பெயரை உம்முடைய பெயரைவிட பிரபலப்படுத்தி, அவருடைய சிங்காசனத்தை உம்முடைய சிங்காசனத்தைவிட பெரிதாக்குவாராக என்றார்கள்; ராஜா தம்முடைய கட்டிலின்மேல் குனிந்து பணிந்துகொண்டார்.

அனைத்து அதிகாரிகளும் அரசர் தாவீதுக்கு வாழ்த்து சொல்லிக்கொண்டு இருக்கிறார்கள். அவர்கள், ‘தாவீது அரசனே, நீ மிகப் பெரிய அரசன்! சாலொமோனையும் மிகப் பெரிய அரசனாக்கும்படி உங்கள் தேவனிடம் இப்போது நாங்கள் ஜெபம் செய்கிறோம். உங்கள் தேவன் உங்களைவிடவும் சாலொமோனைப் புகழுள்ளவனாக்குவார் என்று நம்புகிறோம். மேலும் உங்கள் அரசாங்கத்தைவிட சாலொமோனின் அரசாங்கம் பெரியதாக இருக்கும் என்றும் நம்புகிறோம்!’” என்று வாழ்த்தினர். அங்கே தாவீது அரசனும் இருந்தான். படுக்கையிலேயே அவன் குனிந்து வணங்கினான்.

மேலும், அரசரின் அலுவலர் நம் தலைவராகிய தாவீது அரசரிடம் வந்து, ‘உம் கடவுள் உமது பெயரைவிடச் சாலமோன் பெயரைச் சிறப்புடையதாய் ஆக்குவாராக! உமது அரியணையை விட அவரது அரியணையை மாண்புடையதாய் ஆக்குவாராக!” என்று வாழ்த்தினர். அரசரும் தம் படுக்கையில் வணங்கித் தொழுது,

Raajaavin ooliyakkaararum David raajaavaakiya nammutaiya aanndavanai vaalththuthal seyyavanthu: Dhevan saalomonin naamaththai ummutaiya naamaththaippaarkkilum pirapalapaduththi, avarutaiya singaasanaththai ummutaiya singaasanaththaip paarkkilum perithaakkuvaaraaka entarkal; raajaa thammutaiya kattilinmael kuninthu panninthukonndaar.
