16 தாவீது லேவியரின் பிரபுக்களை நோக்கி: நீங்கள் உங்கள் சகோதரராகிய பாடகரைத் தம்புரு சுரமண்டலம் கைத்தாளம் முதலிய கீதவாத்தியங்கள் முழங்க தங்கள் சத்தத்தை உயர்த்தி, சந்தோஷமுண்டாகப் பாடும்படி நிறுத்தவேண்டுமென்று சொன்னான். And David spake to the chief of the Levites to appoint their brethren to be the singers with instruments of music, psalteries and harps and cymbals, sounding, by lifting up the voice with joy.

18 இவர்களோடுங்கூட இரண்டாவது வரிசையாகத் தங்கள் சகோதரராகிய சகரியா, பேன், யாசியேல், செமிரமோத், யெகியேல், உன்னி, எலியாப், பெனாயா, மாசெயா, மத்தித்தியா, எலிப்பெலேகு, மிக்னேயா, ஒபேத்ஏதோம், ஏயெல் என்னும் வாசல் காவலாளரையும் நிறுத்தினார்கள். And with them their brethren of the second degree, Zechariah, Ben, and Jaaziel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Unni, Eliab, and Benaiah, and Maaseiah, and Mattithiah, and Elipheleh, and Mikneiah, and Obededom, and Jeiel, the porters.

19 பாடகராகிய ஏமானும், ஆசாப்பும், ஏத்தானும், பஞ்சலோகக் கைத்தாளங்களைத் தொனிக்கப்பண்ணிப் பாடினார்கள். So the singers, Heman, Asaph, and Ethan, were appointed to sound with cymbals of brass;

20 சகரியா, ஆசியேல், செமிரமோத், யெகியேல், உன்னி, எலியாப், மாசெயா, பெனாயா என்பவர்கள் அல்மோத் என்னும் இசையில் பாடி, தம்புருகளை வாசித்தார்கள். And Zechariah, and Aziel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Unni, and Eliab, and Maaseiah, and Benaiah, with psalteries on Alamoth;

21 மத்தித்தியா, எலிப்பெலேகு, மிக்னேயா, ஓபேத்ஏதோம், ஏயெல், அசசியா என்பவர்கள் செமனீத் என்னும் இசையில் பாடி, சுரமண்டலங்களை நேர்த்தியாய் வாசித்தார்கள். And Mattithiah, and Elipheleh, and Mikneiah, and Obededom, and Jeiel, and Azaziah, with harps on the Sheminith to excel.

22 லேவியருக்குள்ளே கெனானியா என்பவன் சங்கீதத்தலைவனாயிருந்தான்; அவன் நிபுணனானபடியால், கீதவித்தையைப் படிப்பித்தான். And Chenaniah, chief of the Levites, was for song: he instructed about the song, because he was skillful.

23 பெரகியாவும் எல்க்கானாவும் பெட்டிக்கு முன்பாகக் காவல்காத்துவந்தார்கள். And Berechiah and Elkanah were doorkeepers for the ark.

24 செபனியா, யோசபாத், நெதனெயேல், அமாசாயி, சகரியா, பெனாயா, எலியேசர் என்னும் ஆசாரியர் தேவனுடைய பெட்டிக்கு முன்பாகப் பூரிகைகளை ஊதினார்கள்; ஓபேத் ஏதோமும், எகியாவும் பெட்டிக்கு வாசல் காவலாளராயிருந்தார்கள். And Shebaniah, and Jehoshaphat, and Nethaneel, and Amasai, and Zechariah, and Benaiah, and Eliezer, the priests, did blow with the trumpets before the ark of God: and Obededom and Jehiah were doorkeepers for the ark.

25 இப்படித் தாவீதும், இஸ்ரவேலின் மூப்பரும், ஆயிரத்துச் சேர்வைக்காரரும் கர்த்தருடைய உடன்படிக்கைப் பெட்டியை ஓபேத்ஏதோமின் வீட்டிலிருந்து மகிழ்ச்சியோடே கொண்டுவரப்போனார்கள். So David, and the elders of Israel, and the captains over thousands, went to bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of the house of Obededom with joy.

26 கர்த்தருடைய உடன்படிக்கைப்பெட்டியைச் சுமக்கிற லேவியருக்கு தேவன் அநுக்கிரகம்பண்ணினபடியால், அவர்கள் ஏழு காளைகளையும் ஏழு ஆட்டுக்கடாக்களையும் பலியிட்டார்கள். And it came to pass, when God helped the Levites that bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD, that they offered seven bullocks and seven rams.

And David was clothed with a robe of fine linen, and all the Levites that bare the ark, and the singers, and Chenaniah the master of the song with the singers: David also had upon him an ephod of linen.

Thus all Israel brought up the ark of the covenant of the LORD with shouting, and with sound of the cornet, and with trumpets, and with cymbals, making a noise with psalteries and harps.

16 David laeviyarin pirapukkalai Nnokki: neengal ungal sakothararaakiya paadakaraith thampuru suramanndalam kaiththaalam muthaliya geethavaaththiyangal mulanga thangal saththaththai uyarththi, santhoshamunndaakap paadumpati niraுththavaenndumentu sonnaan. And David spake to the chief of the Levites to appoint their brethren to be the singers with instruments of music, psalteries and harps and cymbals, sounding, by lifting up the voice with joy.

17 Appatiyae laeviyar yovaelin kumaaranaakiya aemaanaiyum, avan sakothararil perakiyaavin kumaaranaakiya aasaappaiyum, meraariyin puththiraraana thangal sakothararil kushaayaavin kumaaranaakiya aeththaanaiyum, So the Levites appointed Heman the son of Joel; and of his brethren, Asaph the son of Berechiah; and of the sons of Merari their brethren, Ethan the son of Kushaiah;

18 Ivarkalodungaூda iranndaavathu varisaiyaakath thangal sakothararaakiya sakariyaa, paen, yaasiyael, semiramoth, yekiyael, unni, eliyaap, penaayaa, maaseyaa, maththiththiyaa, elippelaeku, miknaeyaa, opaethaethom, aeyel ennum vaasal kaavalaalaraiyum niraுththinaarkal. And with them their brethren of the second degree, Zechariah, Ben, and Jaaziel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Unni, Eliab, and Benaiah, and Maaseiah, and Mattithiah, and Elipheleh, and Mikneiah, and Obededom, and Jeiel, the porters.

19 Paadakaraakiya aemaanum, aasaappum, aeththaanum, panjalokak kaiththaalangalaith thonikkappannnnip paatinaarkal. So the singers, Heman, Asaph, and Ethan, were appointed to sound with cymbals of brass;

20 Sakariyaa, aasiyael, semiramoth, yekiyael, unni, eliyaap, maaseyaa, penaayaa enpavarkal almoth ennum isaiyil paati, thampurukalai vaasiththaarkal. And Zechariah, and Aziel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Unni, and Eliab, and Maaseiah, and Benaiah, with psalteries on Alamoth;

21 Maththiththiyaa, elippelaeku, miknaeyaa, opaethaethom, aeyel, asasiyaa enpavarkal semaneeth ennum isaiyil paati, suramanndalangalai naerththiyaay vaasiththaarkal. And Mattithiah, and Elipheleh, and Mikneiah, and Obededom, and Jeiel, and Azaziah, with harps on the Sheminith to excel.

22 Laeviyarukkullae kenaaniyaa enpavan sangaீthaththalaivanaayirunthaan; avan nipunanaanapatiyaal, geethaviththaiyaip patippiththaan. And Chenaniah, chief of the Levites, was for song: he instructed about the song, because he was skillful.

23 Perakiyaavum elkkaanaavum pettikku munpaakak kaavalkaaththuvanthaarkal. And Berechiah and Elkanah were doorkeepers for the ark.

24 Sepaniyaa, yosapaath, nethaneyael, amaasaayi, sakariyaa, penaayaa, eliyaesar ennum aasaariyar thaevanutaiya pettikku munpaakap poorikaikalai oothinaarkal; opaeth aethomum, ekiyaavum pettikku vaasal kaavalaalaraayirunthaarkal. And Shebaniah, and Jehoshaphat, and Nethaneel, and Amasai, and Zechariah, and Benaiah, and Eliezer, the priests, did blow with the trumpets before the ark of God: and Obededom and Jehiah were doorkeepers for the ark.

25 Ippatith Davidm, isravaelin moopparum, aayiraththuch servaikkaararum karththarutaiya udanpatikkaip pettiyai opaethaethomin veettilirunthu makilchchiyotae konnduvarapponaarkal. So David, and the elders of Israel, and the captains over thousands, went to bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of the house of Obededom with joy.

26 Karththarutaiya udanpatikkaippettiyaich sumakkira laeviyarukku Dhevan anukkirakampannnninapatiyaal, avarkal aelu kaalaikalaiyum aelu aattukkadaakkalaiyum paliyittarkal. And it came to pass, when God helped the Levites that bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD, that they offered seven bullocks and seven rams.

27 Davidm, pettiyaich sumakkira sakala laeviyarum, paadakarum, paadakarin vaelaiyai visaarikkira thalaivanaakiya kenaaniyaavum, melliya pudavaiyaana saalvaikalaith thariththirunthaarkal; David sanalnool aepoththaith thariththirunthaan. And David was clothed with a robe of fine linen, and all the Levites that bare the ark, and the singers, and Chenaniah the master of the song with the singers: David also had upon him an ephod of linen.

28 Appatiyae isravaelanaiththum karththarutaiya udanpatikkaip pettiyaik kempeeraththodum, ekkaalangal poorikaikal kaiththaalangalin thoniyodum thampurukalaiyum suramanndalangalaiyum vaasikkira saththaththodum konnduvanthaarkal. Thus all Israel brought up the ark of the covenant of the LORD with shouting, and with sound of the cornet, and with trumpets, and with cymbals, making a noise with psalteries and harps.
