நப்தலி புத்திரரில் ஆயிரம் தலைவர்கள் பரிசையும் ஈட்டியும் பிடித்த அவர்களோடேகூட இருந்தவர்கள் முப்பத்தேழாயிரம்பேர்.

பட்டயத்திற்குத் தப்பின மீதியானவர்களை அவன் பாபிலோனுக்குச் சிறைபிடித்துப்போனான்; பெர்சியா அரசாட்சி ஏற்படுத்தப்படும்வரை அங்கே அவர்கள் அவனுக்கும் அவனுடைய மகன்களுக்கும் அடிமைகளாக இருந்தார்கள்.

நேபுகாத்நேச்சார் உயிரோடு மீதியாக உள்ள ஜனங்களை பாபிலோனுக்குக் கொண்டுபோய் அவர்களைக் கட்டாயப்படுத்தி அடிமையாக்கினான். பெர்சிய அரசு பாபிலோனிய அரசை அழிக்கும்வரை அவர்கள் அங்கு அடிமைகளாகவே இருந்தனர்.
